Overview
The dominant faction is rewarded the following:
- +1 full breeding a month
- +1 free Patrol a month
- +1 free Expedition a month
- +10% chance to successfully complete a hunt
- +10% chance to avoid an Encounter in Exploration
- +5% chance to Craft any kind of crafting item.
Dominance Events
Dominance events occur twice a year, in the Spring and in the Fall. They occur the first month of the season, so the first event will always happen March and the second event will always happen in September. Events last for two months of the season, in which factions will compete against each other. The winning faction will keep the perks until the next season, in which they must battle to keep their perks. This means that a faction will keep their perks for four months.
THE FACTIONS
Bloodborn
Those of the bloodborn faction are ruthless fighters, known for their power in the pits and their aggressive nature. They are brutish and strong, and build strong ties among others in the faction. The bloodborn faction is known to live within the deserts and the lush grasslands.

+1 to Vitality
+10% Chance to find rarer items while hunting or Gathering
Frostborn
Those of the Frostborn faction are secluded from others aside from their own kind. They are strange and mysterious and are known to be powerful magic wielders. The frostborn faction is known to dwell within the southern icy regions.
+2 to Intellect
+1 + Vitality
+10% chance to successfully craft Exploring items [such as space craft].
Earthborn
Those of the Earthborn faction are swift and agile. Quick on their feet and witty, they are fast and able to maneuver around obstacles with ease. The earthborn faction is known to dwell within the forest regions.
+2 to Agility
+1 to Luck
Nebulaborn
Those of the Nebulaborn faction are in tune with their Titan ancestors, they are intelligent and look to the stars for guidance. The Nebulaborn faction is known to dwell within the northern icy regions.
+2 to Intellect

The Faction-less
Joining a faction
Joining a faction for the first time is simple and easy. Reply to this journal with the following form:You may not participate in dominance if you are not assigned to a faction.
Dy Imports - [Link all of your uploaded Dy'kletiun. Note that ALL of your Dy will share the same faction!]
Changing Your Faction
Changing your faction however is not as simple. It requires a bit of work and there are some restrictions that apply.Restrictions
- A member may not change their Faction during a Dominance Event
- You must be a member of a Faction for 3 months before you may change
- If you change your faction to the dominating faction you cannot gain the rewards of that faction until the next dominance event.
These restrictions are in place to keep order in Dominance. Failure to abide by the rules will result you in being Faction-less for one whole season and having to re-join a faction.
Drawn Prompts
Drawn prompts must include the following:
- 50% of the faction leader
- 50% of one of your Dy'kletiun
- Fully colored and shaded with background
Literature Prompts
Literature prompts must include the following:
- 50% about the prompt itself not including things like background details
- The faction leader and one of your Dy'kletiun interacting
- 2,000 words

We've provided a few answers to some questions from the community about Dominance and factions.- Do I have to join a faction?
No you do not! But in order to participate in Dominance and gain the benefits of Dominance, you must.
2. May I request to change to Faction-less? Do I have to claim Faction-less as my faction if I have not claimed one yet?
Yes, you may request to change to faction-less. You do not have to complete any prompts for faction-less changes. You do not have to claim faction-less as your faction if you have not claimed one yet.
3. Are Dominions used in Dominance?
No, Dominions are a PVE mechanic. You may however use Afflictions, which are PVP mechanics.
4. Can I have Dy in different Factions?
No, as Faction and dominance is an account bound feature! You can have them be non-canon and not have them be updated on the import, but you will not be able to use them in Dominance.
